Daewoo Electronics Operating Sales up 13- F
SEOUL, Feb. 2 - Daewoo Electronics, South Korea¡¯s major supplier of electronics products, announced on February 1 that the company¡¯s operating profit topped 41 billion won ($35 million), growing by 13- fold year-on-year.
The company registered 1.13 trillion won in revenue, down 40 percent from 1.9 trillion won of the previous year due to restructuring of business division.
